Why I use Oils
As a typical Taurean I have always been a plant loving earth child. At a young age, I felt a deep connection to Pachamama and would spend hours outside collecting plants, flowers & stones in awe and wonder. I loved playing with the colours, smells and tastes and made my own teas and oil brews. I guess I have always recognized the healing capacity of Mother Nature, following her rhythms and cycles as a student and daughter of the earth.
When I burnt out at the age of 30, I knew I wanted to learn more of Mother Nature’s guidance to care for and nurture my body. I knew that natural solutions were far better for me than chemicals. I knew that the body has an incredible capacity to heal itself when supported in the right way with the right lifestyle and health choices. I intuitively found my way to these oils and they have been my primary healthcare and teachers ever since.
It is such an honor to share them with others and it’s incredible to witness the lives touched by their magic. My calling is to share these gifts of the earth with anyone who hears the call -- other women, men and communities, so that they too can pass this knowledge on as a lineage of sacred inherited wisdom.
dōTERRA essential oils have a very special energy. The purity, potency, life force and spirit of the plants held within these bottles is unique. As soon as you open the lid they will take you on a healing journey back into your heart.
At first I was attracted to the oils as physical tools to work with for the improvement of my health. It was fascinating to learn about the ancestry of plants, and thus essential oils and how they work at cellular and energetic level in our bodies! However as you deepen your connection with the sacred wisdom held in these pretty glass bottles you will realise that they heal you on a much deeper level. Almost like peeling back the layers of an onion to unveil what is held within much deeper than just at physical level. These oils bring us back home, reminding and re-wilding us with every sniff …
